These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TrueDetect AI software and the website at truedetectai.net ("the Software", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the Software you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software to diagnose devices you own or are authorized to service. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Software without our written permission.

2. Authorized use only

The Software is intended for legitimate device diagnostics, valuation and repair. MDM anti-theft lock and certified data erasure must be used only on devices you own or are authorized by the owner to manage. You are solely responsible for using these features lawfully and with proper consent.

3. Accuracy of results

The Software displays information reported directly by the connected device. While we design it to be accurate and avoid showing values that could be wrong, results may vary by device, model, operating system and connection method. Results are for guidance and are not a warranty about the device.

4. Data erasure

Certified data erasure permanently deletes data and cannot be undone. You are responsible for backing up any needed data and confirming the correct device before erasing. We are not liable for data loss resulting from this feature.

5. Disclaimer of warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of data, profit or device functionality arising from your use of the Software.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Software and website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
